Oregon Historical Society Museum

The Oregon Historical Society Museum houses more than 85,000 pieces of Native American Artifacts and the “Portland Penny.”

Pittock Mansion

Located high in the West Hills, the Pittock Mansion has beautiful views of the city and plenty of information to give visitors and residents a glimpse of Portland’s past.

Fort Vancouver

This is Portland’s only national historic site. Fort Vancouver is centered around a replica of the fur-trading camp Fort Vancouver, founded in 1825.

Oregon Rail Heritage Center

The Oregon Rail Heritage Center is a free museum that features three vintage steam locomotives, including the steam locomotive that pulled US Bicentennial Freedom Train in 1976.
