South Waterfront to get its first pub

A new gastro pub that’ll specialize in American comfort food and serve microbrews, plans to open its doors in South Waterfront this September.

The Groaning Board will open at 3500 S.W. River Parkway, on the site previously occupied by Soho Asian Fusion Bistro and Lounge. It will feature micro taps and also serve cocktails and wines, including Northwest varieties.

The pub will open under the management of Oregon Culinary Institute graduate Aimee Finntilikum crossing bridge of the people colaborative to cityigan. On weekdays, it will serve lunch and dinner and will host happy hours. It will also serve dinner on Saturdays and brunch on Sundays.
